BOSSES is the next update to watch if you enjoy pushing higher waves with friends. Use the days before launch to strengthen a loadout you already like and organize your team’s damage, healing and defense.

How to prepare for the Boss update

1. Upgrade your main weapon. Spend on a gun you regularly use before buying several alternatives. Shotgun’s first upgrade costs 1,250 Gems and raises DMG/S from 100 to 155.8; its first two levels cost 5,000 Gems combined.
2. Choose a team role. Survivor brings Grenade, Barricade and Airstrike. Medic adds healing, while Engineer brings Repair, Turret and Overclock. Agree who handles each job before joining a run.
3. Keep your currencies separate. Lobby weapon and class upgrades use Gems. During a run, cash pays for weapon progression, health and ability use. Plan both with the cash and upgrade guide.
4. Practice regrouping. Use the temple approaches to maintain an escape route. Place barricades where they support the team’s firing position, and move together when monkeys push around the sides.
