What happens when you die? Revive & spectating

See the recorded death screen, teammate spectating controls and Revive button, with clear answers about what the footage confirms.

Contents

In the recorded co-op run, dying brings up YOU DIED, a REVIVE button and teammate spectating controls. The camera follows another player while the run continues. A visible Revive button alone does not establish that revival is free.

What the death screen looks like

The screenshot shows three useful pieces of information:

On-screen element What it tells you
YOU DIED Your player is in the recorded death state
Player name with left and right arrows A teammate selector is available in the spectating view
REVIVE A revival option is shown; its price and requirements are not established by this frame

Can you watch teammates after dying?

Yes, the recording shows the view following teammates after the player's death. The player-name selector and arrows are visible on that screen. This is a co-op observation: it does not establish what happens when a solo player dies or every teammate is eliminated.

If you are playing with friends, use this time to coordinate with the players still in the run. As general teamwork advice, call out what you can actually see in the teammate view and avoid assuming the run has ended just because your own character died. See the co-op preparation guide.

Is Revive free, and do you keep your cash?

The reviewed frame does not show a confirmed revival transaction or the rules for retaining cash, weapons and rewards after revival. Check the game's current prompt before accepting any purchase. We do not infer a price, a free-revive allowance or automatic respawn timing from the button label.

The recording also does not establish the reward or reset rules for a full team wipe. Those are separate questions from the teammate spectating state shown here.

Preparing for your next attempt

The recording shows a health purchase button starting at HEALTH [100] / $10, a later HEALTH [110] / $20 snapshot, and HEALTH [300] / MAX late in the run. Read the cash and health guide for these observations rather than assuming a complete cost progression.

For your loadout, compare Medic's healing skills, Survivor's Barricade and the recorded horde encounters. These provide preparation options; the footage does not prove that any one loadout prevents deaths.

Player questions

Does my death end the team's run?

Not in the recorded example: the player enters spectating while teammates remain in play. The footage does not establish all end-of-run conditions.

Can teammates revive me?

The screenshot shows a REVIVE button, but does not establish a teammate revival mechanic. Medic's healing descriptions also do not by themselves prove resurrection.

Do I automatically respawn on the next wave?

The reviewed evidence does not establish automatic next-wave respawning. The confirmed behavior here is the death screen and teammate spectating.
