How to spend 10,000 Gems: best buys & upgrade budgets

Spend the 1MVISITS reward on a Shorty build, Shotgun upgrades or Survivor skills, or save toward Medic. Compare complete 10,000-Gem budgets.

Contents

For a new player, claim the free tutorial upgrades and lobby SMG gift first. Then use 10,000 Gems to improve a weapon you use or save toward Medic. Shorty plus its first upgrade costs 5,450 Gems; if you already own Shotgun, its first two upgrades cost 5,000 Gems together.

The 1MVISITS code gives 10,000 Gems. MONKEYS and SURVIVE add 1,000 each, bringing the three code rewards to 12,000 Gems when you claim each once. [1].

Claim the free offers first

  1. Finish the tutorial and claim its free Pow Pow and first weapon upgrade.
  2. Claim the tutorial's free Survivor Grenade level-one upgrade.
  3. Like the game, enable notifications and join the gorilla warfare. group. Open the purple gift box in the lobby and press the green checkmark for a free SMG and 1,000 Gems. See the lobby gift steps. [1].

The SMG gift is separate from code rewards. Taking these offers leaves your Gem budget available for upgrades and class savings.

Choose a 10,000-Gem plan

Pick one row based on the loadout you use. The balances below start with exactly 10,000 Gems.

Your goal Purchases Total Gems Gems left
Try a Tier 1 shotgun Shorty unlock + level-one upgrade 5,450 4,550
Improve a Shotgun you already own Shotgun levels one and two 5,000 5,000
Improve your Survivor kit Grenade levels two to five + Barricade levels one and two + Airstrike level one 6,150 3,850
Strengthen a Burst Rifle you already own Burst Rifle level-one upgrade 7,500 2,500
Become your team's healer Save the full budget toward Medic's 15,000-Gem unlock 0 10,000

Weapon upgrade values, Survivor skill upgrades and Shotgun upgrades.

Best weapon purchase: Shorty plus level one

Shorty unlocks for 5,000 Gems. Its first upgrade costs 450 Gems, raising DMG/S from 80 to 108, Damage from 10 to 12, and Pellets from 8 to 9. The combined 5,450-Gem purchase fits comfortably within the reward.

Choose this plan if you want a pellet-based Tier 1 alternative to Pow Pow. Use the shop's TRY control before buying. If you prefer Pow Pow or your free SMG, keep those weapons and put the Gems toward their place in your upgrade plan instead. See best weapons by budget and role.

Best upgrade plan if you own Shotgun

Shotgun level one costs 1,250 Gems and level two costs 3,750 Gems. Together they cost 5,000 Gems, raising its DMG/S through 100 → 155.8 → 187.

Buy level one first: it increases Damage and Pellets. Level two improves Fire Rate and Spread. This budget covers upgrades to a Shotgun you already own; the weapon unlock is a separate purchase. See the weapon upgrade guide.

Best Survivor skill budget

After taking the tutorial's free Grenade level one, the following purchases cost 6,150 Gems:

Skill target Gem costs Result
Grenade level five 150 + 500 + 1,500 + 2,500 = 4,650 Damage 175; Area Size 18
Barricade level two 150 + 350 = 500 Shop Cost 46; Health 175
Airstrike level one 1,000 Damage 130; 10 bombs

This plan strengthens all three Survivor tools without paying for another class. Prioritize Grenade if you use it regularly, or start with the two 500-Gem combined Barricade upgrades if maintaining a defensive position is your main job. Barricade's live cash price changes during a run; see placement costs.

When to save for Medic

Medic costs 15,000 Gems. Save instead of buying Shorty if your team already has enough damage and needs healing.

With all three codes, you have 12,000 Gems, leaving 3,000 to save. If you also claim the separate 1,000-Gem SMG gift, those rewards total 13,000, leaving 2,000 toward Medic. Existing Gems and run rewards add to your balance.

Lobby Gems versus run cash

These budgets use lobby Gems. Weapon progression, health and ability buttons during a match use run cash. A $2,500 Minigun run purchase and a 20,000-Gem Minigun level-one upgrade are different purchases. Plan each currency with cash, health and upgrades.

Player questions

Can 10,000 Gems buy Medic?

Medic's Gem unlock costs 15,000. Keep the reward and save another 5,000, or claim MONKEYS and SURVIVE to reduce the remaining amount to 3,000.

Should I spend every Gem immediately?

Spend on the weapon or skill you use most. The Shorty and Shotgun plans leave several thousand Gems available for skills or your next class unlock.

Does the Shotgun plan include unlocking the weapon?

The 5,000-Gem total covers levels one and two for an already-owned Shotgun. It does not include a separate weapon unlock.
